What makes up the cost of a party or event?
 When your quoted a price for your event a number of things go into it, obviously the amount of time the event is to take place (e.g. 4 hour event), but that is not all that price includes:
 
1.    Set-up time-arrival before the event (minimum of an hour in most cases, more in others-Difficult in getting to event or getting equipment in the building (e.g. second or third floors, no direct access, having to go through kitchens, out of the way corridors or other special circumstances.
 
2.    Tear down-getting equipment out of the event.
 
3.    Drive time-some events can be farther away than others. If an event is over an hour and half of drive time and it is late at night, there will be an extra charge for a one-night stay at a motel, which will be included in the price.
 
4.    Constant upgrading of music-on going cost to all DJ's as they must stay current and meeting the special request of customers.
 
5.    Special attire-tuxedoes for formal events-special costomes for theme events.
 
6.    Special lighting, props, prizes.
 
7.    Extra duties-Mc duties-making announcements. Running contest and games for special events.
 
8.    Unusual request of the customer, which can include almost anything.
 
9.    Additional equipment for larger venues and karaoke which is now being offered
 
10.    Unless a professional party organizer has been hired to run the event, we provide that service through the questionnaire. We keep track of times and talk to all those involved in the reception (caterer, photographer, hotel staff, videographer and any others involved).
